Sightseeing from Biggin Hill to Beachy Head, Seven Sisters and Seaford

After suffering a few set backs over the Christmas period, including appalling weather, the PA28 G-JO out of service for a couple of days and then the brakes failing on me in the Cessna 172, I wanted to get back on the horse with a pleasant sightseeing trip with my Father in law.

Departing from runway 03 at Biggin Hill, we made a right turn after departure routing to the VRP at Sevenoaks. We then changed to Farnborough Radar as we tracked South over Tunbridge Wells, Heathfield and Eastbourne. On reaching Eastbourne we tracked around the coast with Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters Cliffs on our right hand side. On reaching the VOR at Seaford we made a right turn towards Heathfield and then followed the same route back to Biggin.

As a bit of a confidence boost and to keep current, I requested some VFR circuits on return to Biggin Hill which I completed with the sun setting in the distance.
